Cash on Delivery in Kuwait, Reconciled Per Order

COD is still how most of Kuwait buys online. Karrix collects it at the door, matches every dinar against the specific order it came from, and pays it back with a statement that names each shipment — instead of a lump sum you have to unpick at month end.

The problem is not collecting the cash

Almost any courier will take money at the door. The part that quietly costs Kuwait merchants real margin is knowing which orders that money belongs to — and spotting the ones where it was never collected at all.

Matched to the order, not the month

Every collection is tied to the shipment and checked against your store's order total. A mismatch surfaces as a mismatch instead of disappearing into a monthly figure that roughly looks right.

Statements that name every shipment

When a payout lands you get the list behind it: order reference, amount, date, driver. You can tie it to your books without a spreadsheet reconstruction exercise.

Failed and refused orders stay visible

An order that came back undelivered is money you never received. It is tracked as its own outcome, so refusals and failed attempts do not silently look like unpaid collections.

Proof of delivery on every drop

Photo, e-signature and timestamp captured at the door. When a customer says a COD order never arrived, the answer is evidence rather than an argument.

Coverage past the easy areas

Kuwait City, Hawally, Farwaniya, Ahmadi, Jahra and Mubarak Al-Kabeer. Multi-carrier routing means one partner's capacity limits do not become your delivery gaps.

Status written back to your store

Collected, failed, returned — the outcome flows back to the order in Shopify, Salla, Zid, WooCommerce, Odoo or ordable/, so your team works in one system.

How COD works with Karrix

Three steps, and our team does the connection work.

1

Connect your store

One integration with your existing platform. Paid and COD orders both flow through; COD orders carry the amount to collect.

2

We dispatch and collect

The order routes to a verified carrier, the customer gets Arabic tracking updates, and the driver collects the exact amount against the shipment.

3

You get paid, with the detail

Funds are paid out on the schedule agreed with your account, each payout itemised by order so it reconciles against your books directly.

COD questions merchants actually ask

The order is recorded as refused, no cash is collected, and the item is returned to you. Because refusals are tracked separately from collections, a refused order never looks like a missing payment in your reconciliation.
Every payout comes with an itemised statement listing each shipment and the amount collected against it. This is the question worth asking any delivery provider — if the answer is a single monthly total, reconciliation becomes your problem.
Ministerial Decision 109/2026 caps what intermediary platforms may charge merchants and caps the delivery fee charged to consumers. A store selling its own products is not an intermediary platform. Our compliance guide covers the scope test, and the enforcement guide covers what applies now the deadline has passed. General information, not legal advice.
Shopify, Salla, Zid, WooCommerce, Odoo and ordable/, plus anything custom through our REST API. Worth knowing if you are on Salla: its own COD-via-shipping-labels feature is documented as available only inside Saudi Arabia, so Kuwait stores need an external COD layer.
